Hi my name is Lukas and I'm Commercial | Technical Diver, HSE certified and approved. I gained experience in HSE 1st Aid at Work & O2 Provider, Professional SCUBA, Surface Supplied, Subsea Tooling & Inspection, Wet-Bell Top-Up (IMCA Recognised), Emergency Air Chamber Operator and Commercial NITROX.
In my spare time I extract plastic pollution from the oceans and I intercept it in rivers before it can reach the ocean
Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans, of which the majority spills out from rivers. If no action is taken, plastic will increasingly impact our ecosystems, health, and economies.
The ocean’s health is essential for all life on Earth, not only for marine wildlife.
Keeping our marine ecosystems clean from debris and pollution is probably one of the most important goals we should work towards, and it is definitely one we should all care about.
